Due to inclement weather and in accordance with Baltimore County Public Schools GGCA will be opening with a 2 hour delay Wednesday 1/17. Normal paid before care begins at 9:30 am school doors open at 10 am, classes begin at 10:15 am. Please drive safely!

Justin Lynch scores 1000 points!

On January 23, 2020, in a game against Covenant Life, Justin Lynch scored his 1000th point to become the 16th Eagle to score 1000 points in their career. 





Varsity Boys Win Cecil College Christmas Tournament

After losing to Elkton High School in double overtime last year, GGCA came back to win the tournament this year.  Although the Eagles were outsized, they were not outhustled.  

James Carter won the tournament MVP.

Jack Brigham was named to all tournament team.

Alumni Night & Unveiling of 1000 Point Banners

On November 26th we welcomed back over 60 alumni to compete against each other in basketball games. It was a special night where we honored 15 players who have scored over 1000 points in their GGCA high school careers. It was a packed house and a great family night, celebrating our heritage and history as a school and honoring the players accomplishments. To see more photos of the event:

Varsity Boys Soccer Season

Congratulations to our boys’ varsity soccer team for a great season. It was a rebuilding year after graduating so many seniors. Although we lost in the championship games of both the MIAC and the States it was a great accomplishment to make it that far. A special shout out to the players who were selected to the all-conference team: 
MIAC 1st team selection: Colby Dunbar, Ronald Daniels;
2nd team: Jehu Vandiver, Isaac Tekie;
Honorable mention: James Carter and those selected to play in the all star game vs. MACSAC.

Jon Cook

Mr. Cook is currently teaching in GGCA’s middle school. He was born and raised in Maryland and attended GGCA until 8th grade. After graduation, he attended Maryland Bible College and Seminary. He completed his practicum in Budapest, Hungary, where he fell in love with teaching at Greater Grace International School. What was supposed to be a six month assignment became seven years. While there he led the youth group and was a chaplain at GGIS. He’s also spent time as a youth pastor of a Korean group. Jon is a welcome addition to GGCA’s teaching staff.

Annette Bednez

Annette possesses a BA in music education and has over 30 years of experience teaching vocal, general, and instrumental music. GGCA welcomes her back as the elementary school music teacher. Her love for music and ministry is contagious and has motivated many students to explore what God has planned for them in music ministry. God has used music mightily in her life and she believes the same can happen to any student!

Jon Saboe

Jon spent the first 19 years of his life in the mountains of North Idaho near the Canadian border. During high school he toured with various bands playing jazz piano in Spokane, Reno, and other parts of the Pacific Northwest.
After a year at Whitman College studying astrophysics and linguistics, God called Jon to Peabody Music Conservatory in Baltimore where he eventually got his Masters from Johns Hopkins.
Jon joined the Baltimore Bible Speaks in 1985 and has been active in music, outreach, and education since then. He met his wife, Valory, at the church and they were married in 1994.
He is a regular guest lecturer and substitute for MBC&S, and helped found the popular “Science Guys” series.
Jon taught music at Goucher College, teaches private piano at Artist Academy, and is also a regular speaker at the Frederick Maryland Creation Society. He currently teaches science in GGCA’s middle school and physics in the high school.
