GGCA OPENING Wed 1/17
Due to inclement weather and in accordance with Baltimore County Public Schools GGCA will be opening with a 2 hour delay Wednesday 1/17. Normal paid before care begins at 9:30 am school doors open at 10 am, classes begin at 10:15 am. Please drive safely!

Gabriel Hedemann

Gabe is a GGCA graduate from the Class of 1994, where he was Salutatorian. He earned his degree in Christian Education from Maryland Bible College and Seminary in 2022.

He previously taught English at GGCA from 1999 to 2003 and has extensive experience teaching at the college level. He taught ESOL at Baltimore City Community College and spent sixteen years teaching English at University of Massachusetts Boston. He now serves as GGCA’s high school English teacher.

Katie Mazino

Raised in Washington, Katie attended Maryland Bible College and Seminary and later earned a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Tacoma Bible College.

She served as a missionary in Argentina, where she began teaching ESL and later earned her TESOL certificate. Upon returning to the United States, she taught ESOL and Spanish to both youth and adults.

Mrs. Mazino currently teaches high school Spanish, Economics, and Technology. She and her family are part of the GGCA community, with all three of her children attending the school.

Carolynn Peters

Carolynn was born in Wisconsin and has taught in many places around the world, including New York City, Baltimore, Budapest, and Belgrade. She brings over 30 years of teaching experience in art, drama, yoga, and English.

At GGCA, she has taught 4th grade and now brings her talents to the high school, teaching history and drama. Her broad experience and creativity make her classroom an engaging place for students to explore and learn.

Hector Eduardo Valle

Mr. Valle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Polytechnic University, a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Maryland Bible College and Seminary, and an Associate’s degree in Science from Community College of Baltimore County.
He has taught Spanish at GGCA and Mathematics and technical subjects at CCBC. Mr. Valle has also been actively involved in the GGWO ministry, serving in various capacities in Ecuador, Baltimore, and Houston. He currently teaches high school mathematics.

Jon Saboe

Jon grew up in the mountains of North Idaho near the Canadian border and began performing jazz piano while in high school. After studying astrophysics and linguistics at Whitman College, he pursued music at Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore and earned a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.

He has been active in music, outreach, and education through his church, where he met his wife, Valory. Jon is a regular guest lecturer and substitute at Maryland Bible College and Seminary and helped found the popular “Science Guys” series.

Jon has taught music at Goucher College, provides private piano instruction at Artist Academy, and is a frequent speaker at the Frederick Maryland Creation Society. He currently teaches high school science and technology.
