Mallaury Davi

Mallaury Davi is thrilled to join the dedicated team here at GGCA as the Teacher’s Aide in kindergarten. With some years of experience working as an aide in elementary education, she has a passion for fostering a nurturing learning environment for young minds. She believes in creating a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and personal growth. She looks forward to making a positive impact on the lives of the students at GGCA and contributing to their development.

In 2019, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Writing from Loyola University. She enjoys playing sports and pursuing hobbies, such as hiking trails in Maryland and reading biographical books. These activities keep her energized and help her bring a well-rounded perspective to the
classroom.

Emily DeLafayette

Emily DeLafayette was born in Baltimore, MD but raised near Albany, NY. She has now moved back to Baltimore to join the GGCA team. Ms. DeLafayette attended Lancaster Bible College where she received Bachelor’s degrees in both Elementary Education and in Biblical Studies. She also attended Concordia University, receiving a Master’s of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction and is currently working on her PhD in Special Education. For the last five years, she was the first grade teacher at Augustine Classical Academy in Malta, NY. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and baking. We are looking forward to having her as a part of our team.

Janiea Andrulonis

Janiea Andrulonis attended Shenandoah University, where she studied Mass Communication, French, and Women’s Studies. Prior to teaching at Greater Grace Christian Academy, she taught Preschool at Faith Baptist Child Development Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, serving her church through the Women’s Ministry and Music Ministry, and spending time with her husband and two children. She is currently teaching kindergarten.

Jen Brooks

Mrs. Jennifer Brooks joined the GGCA elementary school staff as a teacher’s aide in the first grade and then taught in the 4th grade for part of that year.  She is now teaching 5th grade. She is the wife of Doug and the mother of three children, Spencer, Reece, and Caroline, all of whom are enrolled at GGCA.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Mount St. Mary’s University and a law degree from the University of Maryland.

Kim Tanksley

Mrs. Tanksley was born and raised in New Jersey and came to Maryland to attend Maryland Bible College. She met and married her husband, Cedrick, and they went on to have an awesome family of four boys who also attend GGCA. She has been teaching for more than 10 years in various areas and age groups. Mrs. Tanksley has been teaching 3rd grade at GGCA since 2019.

Annette Bednez

Annette possesses a BA in music education and has over 30 years of experience teaching vocal, general, and instrumental music. GGCA welcomes her back as the elementary school music teacher. Her love for music and ministry is contagious and has motivated many students to explore what God has planned for them in music ministry. God has used music mightily in her life and she believes the same can happen to any student!

Lena Andrews

Mrs. Andrews was born in Greece and has served at GGCA for 10 years. She was a 5th grade teacher from 1997-2002, and has been the art teacher since 2102. She holds several degrees including:  a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and Associates degree in Fashion Illustration, an ESOL certificate, and has taught the Greek language for 22 years. Saved in 1988, she has been walking with God for nearly three decades. She is married to Bob Andrews and has two children, Yianna and Stefanos, who are currently students at GGCA.

Sonja Lee

Born in Haverhill, MA, and raised in Florida, Ms. Anderson attended the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She joined GGCA in 2005 as part of its Discovery program for 6- to 12-graders. After teaching kindergarten for 10 years or more, she is now teaching second grade.

Pat Lynch

Coach Lynch graduated from Stevens Christian School in 1983 and Stevens School of the Bible in 1987. He became the Athletic Director at GGCA in 1990. He served as president of the Maryland Christian Athletic League for 18 years. Has successfully led the GGCA Eagles to numerous national, state, and league titles in soccer, basketball, and baseball as the boys’ varsity head coach in these sports. In addition to teaching Physical Education and working at the AD at GGCA (where his two children attend school), he directs a youth instructional league on Saturdays (soccer, basketball, and baseball) and runs summer sports camps. He also volunteers as a counselor at Camp Life. As a young man who grew up in the church and enjoyed playing high school and college sports, Pat sees the value athletics can play in the lives of young people. Pat’s wife,Jennifer, is a great coach in her own right and has led the championship girls basketball program for many years while serving  both the school and the Greater Grace church.
