Due to inclement weather and in accordance with Baltimore County Public Schools GGCA will be opening with a 2 hour delay Wednesday 1/17. Normal paid before care begins at 9:30 am school doors open at 10 am, classes begin at 10:15 am. Please drive safely!

Kiah Bristol | Lunch Monitor & Aftercare Staff

 

Kiah grew up in Baltimore, MD. She is married to Antonio and is the mom of four wonderful girls, along with a beloved cat and dog.

She serves faithfully in her church as a Sunday School teacher and youth leader. She also studies at the Bible College of Grace Life Community Church and has a heart for missions.

She serves at Greater Grace Christian Academy as a Cafeteria Monitor and Aftercare teacher. In her free time, she enjoys dancing and reading.

Krista Reagan | 4th Grade

Krista is a Tennessee native with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education. She has taught internationally at Greater Grace International School and has been part of GGCA’s elementary program for several years, teaching fourth grade.

She and her husband have a young son, and they enjoy being active in their church community.

Mallaury Davi | 5th Grade

Mallaury, a proud GGCA graduate, is a 5th grade teacher at the school. She has experience as an aide in elementary education and is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging classroom where students can explore, grow, and develop their curiosity and creativity.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from Loyola University. Outside the classroom, Mallaury enjoys sports, hiking, and reading biographies, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her teaching.

Emily Walker | 1st Grade

Emily serves on the GGCA team and brings experience in elementary education and curriculum development. She was born in Baltimore, MD, and raised near Albany, NY.

She earned bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education. Emily has taught first grade at Augustine Classical Academy.

She is married and enjoys reading, hiking, and baking.

Janiea Andrulonis | K-5 Lead Teacher

Janiea Andrulonis attended Shenandoah University, where she studied Mass Communication, French, and Women’s Studies. Prior to teaching at Greater Grace Christian Academy, she taught Preschool at Faith Baptist Child Development Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, serving her church through the Women’s Ministry and Music Ministry, and spending time with her husband and two children. She is currently teaching kindergarten.

Kim Tanksley | 3rd Grade

Kim was born and raised in New Jersey and later moved to Maryland to attend Maryland Bible College and Seminary.

She and her husband are raising their family in Maryland. With more than a decade of teaching experience across a variety of age groups and subject areas, Mrs. Tanksley serves as a third-grade teacher at GGCA.

Annette Bednez | Elementary Music

Annette possesses a BA in music education and has over 30 years of experience teaching vocal, general, and instrumental music. GGCA welcomes her back as the elementary school music teacher. Her love for music and ministry is contagious and has motivated many students to explore what God has planned for them in music ministry. God has used music mightily in her life and she believes the same can happen to any student!

Lena Andrews | Art

Lena was born in Greece and has been part of GGCA for many years. She has taught a variety of subjects, including English, art, and Greek, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, an Associate’s degree in Fashion Illustration, and an ESOL certificate.

Mrs. Andrews has a deep faith and has been walking with God for many years. She is married and has two children who attended GGCA and went on to college.

Sonja Lee | 2nd Grade

Born in Haverhill, MA, and raised in Florida, Mrs. Lee attended the University of South Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She joined GGCA in 2005 as part of its Discovery program for 6- to 12-graders. 

After teaching kindergarten for 10 years or more, she is now teaching second grade. Watch the video below to learn more about Sonja’s passion for early literacy.
