Due to inclement weather and in accordance with Baltimore County Public Schools GGCA will be opening with a 2 hour delay Wednesday 1/17. Normal paid before care begins at 9:30 am school doors open at 10 am, classes begin at 10:15 am. Please drive safely!

Before & After Care

Before Care:   This happens at GGCA from 7:30-8:00 am. Walk-ins are $2.50 per child, but must be paid online. Contract prices are more affordable at only $355/year. Please contact the finance office at 410-483-3700.

After Care for Students in Grades K-5: GGCA offers a fun-filled after care program for Kindergarten-5th grade students from 3:10-5:30 pm. Students in grades K-5 who are not picked up by 3:10 pm, are automatically brought to the Family Center and families will be charged the resulting fees. Setting up an annual agreement is a more affordable option for families who cannot pick up their children by 3:10 pm. Please note if you choose to use this program, you will be required to register below. 

After School Provision for Students in Grades 6-12:  To ensure the safety and supervision of both Middle School and High School students after school, we have arranged for a safe space for students to relax, do their homework or an art project while they wait to be picked up. Students remaining on campus after 3:10 pm will automatically be brought to the GGCA Art room. Charges will be incurred either through the contract rate (if the student is registered), or the hourly rate if not registered. Register below.

If your family thinks it may need to use the after care program at any time, it is in your best interest to register.

The 2026-27 rates for both after school options are listed below:

  • $1,550  for 5 days/week for the year
  • $1,100 for 3 days/week for the year
  • Occasional Use: $12.50/hour if registered, $17.50/hour if unregistered.
  • PLEASE NOTE: The full hourly rate will be applied for the first hour no matter how long a student attends. Fee will be prorated by the minute thereafter.
